It all started with a card game.  That led to a recording project, then another, a couple break-ups, and then several live stream performances in 2020 that brought Stolen Roan together.  Thanks to Sam Hould of Leather Soul, Cj Desjardin and Jake Elwood, found their way to each other to form a 2 piece country, rock and Americana band.  Stolen Roan melds Cj's punk drumming roots and Jake's smooth baritone vocals to play music folks of all ages and backgrounds can groove to all night long.  

Based out of Miles City, MT, Stolen Roan is constantly evolving and has welcomed many other local musicians and vocalists from Eastern MT and beyond, and pride themselves on being the go to group no matter the event or venue.  Taking influences from a variety of genres, the boys of Stolen Roan put on a high energy show that can flip from country classics and Red Dirt to Southern Rock and their own originals in a flash.
